In my story, "New Animal Life", in an alternate dimension called Warner-Earth, Marty Mongoose (my OC) and Minerva Mink star in a cartoon called "Love in the Deep", as a sequel to The Little Furmaid (from DC's Animaniacs Comics' issue #41). Minerva was lonely and depressed for possibly being the only mer-creature in the sea, until her weeps lure the handsome Mer-Mongoose, Marty. The two have fallen in love at first sight. However, a lustful and narcissistic sailor (Leopold Mustela) wanted her for himself (he’s infatuated by her beauty and wants to use her to become famous). Unfortunately for him, Marty’s luck, strength, and his friendship with the creatures of the deep prove to be far too much for the sailor to handle, and it ended him being chased away by hungry sharks. With the sailor gone, Marty and Minerva had a romantic wedding and became king and queen of the sea, living happily ever after.
In a different dimension called Aquatic-Earth, Marty and Minerva are happily married mer-furries living the lives of super-models and singers.
