​Driadoma is a fantasy world inhabited by several intelligent species trying to live in harmony with each other. I eventually want to make an art book with some narrative elements and maybe some mini comics. If it was ever to become something more, I would love to make a dnd/pathfinder pen and paper style rpg game.
Elemental magic is just another power source and mages and scientist work together to create magical technology. Elemental magic influences fire, water, air and earth. There is also a less understood, mysterious, primal magic some mages possess. Primal magic influences living things. It has fantasy rpg influences with additional early magical technology. I want to focus on nature and populate the world with lots of creatures including pets and mounts that live alongside the intelligent species. I’m also thinking of adding natural gods/guardians to the mix.
Feel free to mold your adoptable around this setting and I would love it if you did! But since there’s so little info about it now I’m fine with you using it for other personal projects.​


Harctrie

​These short deer like beings often prefer a peaceful and stable life, they are the “hobbits” of Driadoma. Younger or more curious and active Harctrie can sometimes be tempted into a more adventurous life. They tend to stick together but might form friendships with other species through trading or work. Harctrie tend to be skittish around bigger carnivorous species.​

Design notes:
Shorter than a human 3’6”-4’6” 1-1.4 metres
Based on small dear and the prehistoric Hoplitomeryx. Inspired by unicorns and satyrs.
Three horns, a large central one on the forehead and two smaller ones above the eyes.
Three hooved fingers and thumb.
Dark coloured eyes.
Earthy, blond or greyscale colours and markings.



Ill Gotten Gold

​Most Harctrie are suspicious of magic and mages but this one found they had a knack for the art. Unfortunately, rather than use their abilities for the good of their friends and family they use them for shady rituals and schemes for their own gain. Once a gifted and hopeful student has become an arrogant, cruel and aloof individual. An unnatural golden shine to their horns, hooves and eyes hint at magical enhancements. Vanity or the effect of abusing their skills? Will they continue a corrupt life, or do they still have some good in them?​
