I once spent a season in Cancun, guest and toy to a good friend who lived there. I was out at the beach, trotting around on the water's surface when I dropped my house key. It barely a foot away from me on the sandy bottom, but might as well have been on the moon for all the chance I had of reaching it unaided. Luckily, the lifeguard saw and came to my rescue!
