I'm curious, is Gizmo allowed play time with the cat or will he be wild with it? I'm guessing no unattended play if allowed, since Gizmo might think the cat is a snack. :)

The cat outweighs him, so becoming a snack really isn't an issue here.

Honestly, that's a big misconception. Most cases of a "fox" killing a cat are really misidentified coyotes or dogs. Your average cat outweighs your average fox.

As for Gizmo and my cats, he annoys them but he's not aggressive. There's no unsupervised play simply because Gizmo doesn't get any unsupervised play at all (he's like a toddler; you gotta watch him or he gets into all sorts of trouble).

Hee... I treat my dogs the same way. If I'm on my computer, they're in a crate or outside in the containment area. My malamute is similar, turn your back for one minute and she is being mischievous.
