OK! As per my earlier post about Downsizing My Dragon Hoard: here's the first item I am giving up.
They say every fursuiter makes like four or five crappy fursuits before making a good one. Well, I have not gotten anywhere near making a good one yet.
Baring my soul, here is one of my crappy ones. A partial, in every sense of the word. Partial coverage, partially finished. I gave up on it.
Includes head, arms, tail and a set of clothes that go with it. Was supposed to be my character but ended up just looking like a disaster.
Why would you want it? Who knows. Maybe no one will, and then I can just put it in the garbage.
But if someone does want it, I'm not gonna say no.
Wanna cosplay a crappy-looking version of my character?
Make up your own character that looks sorta mostly like mine?
Apply your own craft skills and turn it into a not-quite-so-crappy fursuit?
Whatever you want!
Materials: Base is made of black felt put together with a hot glue gun. High heat, so actually pretty durable. Scales are orange felt with a layer of iridescent plastic film glued on top (then hot glued individually to the black base layer).
Hey, not saying I didn't work HARD on this. And it might be a kinda cool idea if I could do it better.
Eyes are... not there. You'll have to add your own eyes. That's the step where I finally gave up on this suit.
Arms are basically just tubes of felt, joined together at the back so they don't fall off. Hands are gloves decorated with felt scales and pads.
Tail is actually kinda neat, honestly. Stuffed felt, with a few other materials. It fits in the back of a pair of thrift store size 18 women's jeans (Gloria Vanderbilt brand) that I altered to have a tail hole. (The pants aren't perfect, they have a spot of glue stuck on them that I don't know how to get out. I think it's Shoe Goo, not hot glue, since they got that stain doing another project, before I requisitioned them for this one.)
Downside is, you can't really wear the tail unless these jeans fit you. (Or maybe you can put it in your own pair of pants that have a tail hole? It comes out. It has a round flat base that holds it in the tail hole of the pants.)
Shirt is... kinda gigantic and would probably fit an elephant. I chose it mainly because it could be put on over this suit's head.
The head itself just BARELY fits over my head, which is 22-and-a-half inches around at the biggest point. Glasses don't fit inside. If you wanna wear glasses with this thing, you gotta find a way to hold them on from the outside.
All together, this hot mess will cost you $20 to $30 for USPS Priority Mail shipping within the USA, depending on where. Other countries, ask. (I think it'll be like $70 for Europe.)
You pay for shipping. Message me for payment options.
Apart from that, it's free or best offer (I really doubt this'll turn into a bidding war, but if someone makes a better offer than paying nothing, I'm not gonna turn it down).
Comment if you want it, or have questions about it.
Rules:
- Comment to request a thing I'm offering
- Wait 5 days after the request
- In 5 days, if no one else has requested the same thing, the first commenter gets it for free or whatever price they offered
- If there have been other offers in those 5 days, the one who offers the highest price will get it
- If multiple people requested it for free, the first one still gets it, so don't bother asking for a free thing someone else already claimed
- Good luck and have fun!
