little story about my favorite kobold monk. She's my D&D character of the now, standing 3 feet high. tall for her kind, and lives in an ancient fortress that has be rebuilt, rearmed and re manned by the sheer charisma and deeds of herself and her party. This fortress is situated in the northern wildlands, and currently in the middle of dead winter. how does a reptile survive you ask? well her boots(read: greaves) are magicaly enhanced to let her treat the cold like it's nothing up to -40C. Used to have her bunndled up like a small ball of fuz and moving bear skins.
I'm having too much with the character every game. Srsly she climbs and jumps like a mofo.
P.S. Staff is dragon bone, ripped out of the corpse of the first dragon she killed after it was all "Hurr i'mma dragon, you should respect, yo."

Kobolds from the Northlands are awesome. I had a wizard kobold who hailed from Hyperborea. (Essentially the Kobold version of Shangri-La.) Still my favorite DnD character. He had a fancy shirt that did the same thing, except without the temperature limit. It took all his starting wealth. Think it was from the Item Compendium.
I've got my own kobold monk who dual classed as a sorcerer named Wu Shen Ping. It's a scary dang combo when you prep for combat by putting Shocking Grasp and Vampiric Touch on yourself, then Flurry something and watch it die. Spellflower is a lv 1 spell that lets you hold a Touch spell in each hand, and it's damn handy. Ping is fun because he used to be human, but died and a druid Reincarnated him into a kobold, so now he has to deal with being small and people thinking he's a little meeping thief.
Coincidentally, I'm looking to commision someone to sketch him. your kobolds rock.
