This is an attempted re-drawing of an older piece of mine, the Battle Butcher. I really liked the idea but wanted to add more flair and atmosphere by adding a background, as well as more makeshift armor and accessories (notice his weapon is a combination cleaver and tenderizer, and his buckler is made from a cutting board).

If I remember right, the Latin motto of the Butcher's Guild here (very) roughly translates to "finger licking good".
