Alas, there is only so much detail you can go into with papier-mâché x.x This guy stands about 18 inches tall and was made purely of crumpled news paper and loads and loads of tape. He was then coated with papier-mâché, the paste of which was just flour and water (which works amazingly btw) painted over with white primer, painted and detailed, then furred with some pieces of rabbit fur I managed to scrap up (was the best I could find. I wanted to get some little glass eyes, like from a taxidermy place, but I had limited time on this project.)

Then, in order to make him stand, and I had to put two led fishing sinkers in his feet and another in his tail, along with vinyl pads on his feet to keep him level.

The photos aren't of the best quality, as I don't have a very good camera. But the shadow effect on the middle image I thought was so cool :3

I assure you he's much cooler in real life when you can feel how heavy, sturdy, and soft he is :3 And see the detail better, especially his mouth which has both teeth and a tongue. He's currently being displayed back at Arts Academy in the Woods (my high school, don't ya just love the name?) where this project was assigned in my 3D art class.

But anyway, really really fun project that I'd love to take on again sometime!
