Here's the ship commanded by Sasha, the Stretis Federation Ship [SFS] Orion
I went with a semi realistic design for it.
As gravity cannot be manipulated at wish, the crew suits partially composed of nanite hold them down with light magnetic fields but is not enough to actualy replace a "normal" one.
The ring contain the crew quarters and living space, the rotation giving a more natural gravity than with the suits and so giving a more pleasant feeling.
In the center of it a large hangar receive freighters for the food, equipments and diverse things ordered by the crew (as long they have the permission).
Two smaller hangars are placed on the sides just outside the ring and one bigger under to launch the starfighters.
The Orion is equiped with the most advanced Valkaz shields capable of taking much more hits than the regular federation ships and its firepower outclass every of them. This ship has been designed to operate alone and can hold a small fleet a bay by itself.
Along the turrets, it is equiped with torpedos launcher (which are too small to be seen).
And now imagine a little pervy cat is in charge of this :p (hopefully big mama is behind to keep things in order)
If you got questions don't hesitate ^^

well the gravity with the suit is pretty light, you can jump meters without too much effort.
The suit itself has other properties making it worth to wear all the time, it's week to slice but can repair itself (to a certain point), resist to blasts, energy, radiations and in case of exposure to space cover the entire body and assure survival for sometimes (as it's part nanite it's inteligent)

All three work, they can be controlled by AI if needed (I will create a species which will be AI), controlled from the bridge or manned if the bridge is hit or the coms circuits are out. But the precision is much reduced if they're beeing manned as the targeting system isn't coupled with the ship's systems.
This is a very nice starship design. I take it the design is based on the Majestic Class Interdictor from Elite Dangerous?
Don't take that as a bad thing, I based the design of Rogue Claw on the venerable Anaconda from the same game.

This one. It's mostly the circular bit that reminds me of it. http://a51.idata.over-blog.com/0/07.....IES-POPY-1.jpg
Question: Why does such an advanced ship require 7000 crew? WW2 ships had large crew complements because a lot of things were still pretty much done manually with only some assistance from machines. A ship like this, however? I would imagine there to be a whole lot more automation going on under the hood.
The ship need a base of ~4000 to have it running properly, then comes pilots, security staff, troops for ground assault and scientists (during peace times the ship is used to explore and develop new things on the go)
You're right for the automation, but having people checking behind is better

I have seen the show but I'd think something of that mass and most of its armaments up front would want to keep them tracked on the enemy rather than requiring the showing of the ass end of the ship to enter combat, just some side thoughts that cross my mind as first strike is usually a precursor to getting the enemy before they get you. or am I mistaking and she's a broadsider?
Neatly designed)
But I think there’s some flaws:
1. The amount of AA looks insufficient for such big vessel. You need some light, close-ranged guns. Look at USN post-WW2 BBs for a reference
2. Also I would consider switching to retractable primary and secondary guns, ideally - do the same for all armament. It won’t be unnecessary to make visual confirmation more... complicated. Also, stealth technologies doesn’t like when there’s something sticking out of the ships profile.
3. Most of ships firepower concentrated on top of it, which makes it hard hitting target that appeared below the ship. Plus, I see that main guns aren’t protected by armor, which means that they can be destroyed by concentrated fire.
4. Engines are sticking too far behind the ships main hull, which makes them vulnerable for a broadside fire. Still, it’s a good thing that they’re divided in two groups and separated by the hull, but you don’t want to lose half of your thrust in firefight. Also I would suggest switching to the square-shaped nozzles instead of rounded ones, because they produce lesser heat signature.
5. Bridge. Windows, particularly. While they provide an excellent view, they’re too big and vulnerable. While keeping they original size, it would be nice to have two rows of windows that can, if shattered, be quickly closed. Also, side armor.
I would like to know more about ships internal compartment...

The ship is the largest ever built in the universe it is.
1- Even carriers hardly have the same starfighters capacity and it also have a lot of starfighters itself for protection. The aim of this ship is to annihilate the capital vessels and cruisers.
2- For the retractable guns this is an option but come with additional mechanical problems. If the system block you can't shoot, while here even if you can't rotate the main canon, you can move the ship to aim. It also has no stealth tech aboard so it's not a problem.
3- Again, this is a ship seen for long range battles. It's assumed capital ships can't get close to it due to the immense firepower. I have yet to design them, (it's quite hard to find artist to design ships at a reasonable price ^^') but the class ship coming just before it (battlecruiser) carry only one of the masive turret and much less heavy and medium turrets.
Reactors have a limited output and for this one it needs two of the most powerfull they can create and some various smallers around as backup (I realise haven't mentionned this in the desc). So smaller class ship do not have the energical capacity to have a lot of armament.
4- Being detected isn't really a problem, when this ship come in, it's not really to be discret~ Also the reactors are armored, just not the nozzles. But the shields are much more powerfull than what the others have. This vessel is a kind of prototype as it's mixing tech from different worlds together.
5- It seems big but the surface is pretty small when you look at the size of the ship (there's also an emmergency metal panel closing in case of a breach)

Others have mentioned the Imperial Interdictor from Elite, but I also really like the Halo vibes this is giving me. It feels like it could fit right into a Halo game with little trouble.
I also like the semi-realistic approach you have with it.
Great concept and well realised by
