A redraw of an older piece from a while back, of my two friends' sonas and my own as celestial deities. I love these friends with all my heart, they are some of the kindest, funniest and most loyal people I've ever met and they have both been my rock for years. Cheers to you nerds.
I don't often paint using a rough brush and I definitely don't try grayscale much, so this was a really fun challenge overall. I looooved how loose and textured I could make everything, and the low number of layers was a dream. Just kept painting back over it till I liked it!
