[[NOT MY ART]]Of Dragons and Dracology: Essyx - Vol. V
The stomach walls kept kneading and pressing into me, massaging my body against powerful and soft walls. As I mentioned, the flesh of the interior of the stomach was soft and yielding to the touch: pressing my finger into the fleshy wall elicited a loud squelch, but also created a dimple of wrinkled flesh around my finger. Poking at the stomach walls repeatedly was, I admit, a little more than fun, especially because they squelched loudly each time I did so. I was, at least, trying to make the most of a terribly terrifying situation! After all, not many who found themselves inside of a dragon's digestive tract survived the ordeal, and I had no way of knowing if Essyx's stomach had a way to deal with particularly difficult meals such as myself! I've heard tales of many a creatures able to break down the magic of food eaten, and if I was in such a situation, I would have to make a hasty escape! Fortunately for me, though, Essyx's digestive system proved a little more...normal. Still, I found myself rather terrified as a series of loud groans and gurgles echoed in the cavernous belly around me; the walls grew more active and began churning me rapidly, bouncing me around the soft insides of the giant lizard's gut. The air, while thin, hot and acrid, was still somewhat breathable, but I soon found it all sucked from the stomach with a loud and ravenous sound -- one I recognized all too well. Essyx's extreme eructation echoed loudly, and I could hear it well from within the great lizard! The walls of the stomach compacted down upon me, squeezing me tighter than they had prior and pinning me in place! Saliva, mucus and acids oozed over my form as the air was expelled violently from that gut, which made me feel woozy and light-headed, especially while struggling in place to avoid being crushed by those gut walls! At least my host was comfortable and enjoying his meal, even if it was me!

Dragons need to burp every once in a while to free up some extra space in their gut so that they can eat more...
