Its casing made of the melted down blade of the original, the Snowhunter pack's sword has been passed from Alpha to Beta for centuries, though it never remains in one pair of hands for their entire lifetime. Tradition requires that it constantly be in the war of the time, and tradition has kept its blade's thirst well sated. Seen as an object with an almost divine presence and inscribed with the saying "Until the light dies...", this sword is more than worthy of all those who've carried it.

FIELD ANALYSIS: The Snow hunter pack sword was an elegant weapon in the time before plasma, but it earned a reputation for never quite being clean of its enemy's blood. In the present, its blade melted down into a metal casing, it continues to serve its master on the battlefield and as a reminder of why the Snowhunter pack's Alpha sits on the high council. The exploits of this fierce weapon and its holders have become legend in the Snowhunter keep and around Collis. After the deaths of the Alpha pare, it remains unclear which of their children will carry it.
