Today was open house day at the Deutsche Bundesbank, the german federal reserve bank, in Frankfurt.
A bank note sorting machine. You fill in unsortet banknortes and it sorts the money into bundels of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 Euro notes (500 Euro notes are phased out, so they are not entering circulation again). Bank notes that are damaged or dirty will get shredded by the machine.
