Well there are three things you can do to help the experience.
1.)work out everything from script to boards to the Nth degree so there are no surprises. In terms of boards the just need enough polish that the frame layout and characters involved are clear. It seems to me you can draw quickly.
2.) it’s all bout interesting poses. Animation can be defined as poses over time. Animation ends to be played broadly, so when working out poses, make sure they make you laugh, or feel some other emotion, strongly. Doing it this way gives you targets to aim for, and the number of drawing between poses is also decided by you, even if it’s just some breaths and eye blinks, and lip flaps for dialogue, or full on animated in ones, “Sakuga”for action or set pieces. Anime is a good source on how to economize your labor.
3.) What ever you choose, passion is necessary to be able to carry a project, especially animation, through. If your passions are elsewhere, then it may not work out, and deliver your passions there. However buckets of money can serve as an adequate substitute for passion.
