This is the result of my random animal creature design! I asked for animal suggestions on da and fa and picked the suggestions using a random number generator.

I got:
1. base species - Frill-necked Lizard by
2. shape inspiration - Sichuan takin by
3. colours, markings and small details - Kakariki by on da

I said it would just be a sketch but it didn't feel right not adding the Kakariki colours. I used the frills of the frilled lizard to mimic the shape of the takin's fur and the Kakariki's feathers. I feel like I should have made it more lizardy but I didn't want to loose too much of the Takin's shape.

Its a medium sized herbivorous reptile and it uses its green loose skin to hide in the swamps. If it's cover is blown it will charge at predators in a last ditch effort. Using its bright red crest and frills to make itself look bigger and more intimidating.
