Yeah? glad you think so. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's bad per say, just not content with how it came out in the end, her coming out short was one of the things I had noticed. But oh well, thanks though.

lines look pretty good, body language is expressive. agree with the guy above about her seeming short, but put against a smaller character she would look taller? lol. personally though I like it as it seems to give a good overview of her, or what I know of her.

While the standing pose is a little too common, if done right it can be used really well, so that's one thing I'm trying to learn. Good to know you think it's in the right direction though. Guess it was a good thing I posted it, or else it probably would have been forgotten.

nothing wrong with a 'standing pose'. I see it as more than that really to be honest. yeah she's just standing there, but the way you've placed her feet give her weight and a posture which then with the expression helps to create a feel or mood from it. the visible arm adds to the feeling of weight as well and creates a sense of balance
body language is easy to understand I think, but hard to draw down, just do what you think the character would actually do and envision their attitude their way of being in your head. though then you do need some knowledge of various body types, I would assume.

let me guest. you dont like the way the legs look compare to the rest of the body?it still really good(better than my post)so dont be so hard on your self.

Nah, its more than that. I mostly just don't feel like it's my character, and more like a copy instead. But don't worry, not really being hard on myself, I still posted it.

While you having issues with the pic, it's still look good for the practice drawing. =)
