This Andalite is a member of an ethnic group that's adapted for survival in the very Northernmost regions of their home planet. They're inspired by Svalbard reindeer and Shetland ponies, so they're very short and stocky, with thick fur to protect them against the cold. Their skin under their fur is dark, to retain heat and to protect against UV radiation. They also have smaller tailblades than other Andalite ethnicities do.

That's a lot of words when really I just wanted to make a small and fluffy friend.
