Nice, I painted a Minicraft 1:48 Cessna 150 as my dad's birthday gift last September. :) Made it look like our plane: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y1.....255q-Edgar.jpg Ours is a C152 but there's not too much of a physical difference at 1:48, haha.
Nice to hear you're going to train in a 172. I trained in a 152; I've been in a 172 a few times but haven't been the pilot in command in one yet. Someday perhaps soon I shall. Good luck with your training, whenever you start it. :)
