Pet Portraits (In Memorium): Archimedes (6h-ish)
Time on this one was approximated due to not really keeping proper track, given the circumstances, but any who, on we go. As some of you may know, the wonderful
kikidoodle lost one of her sphinx pack-- Archimedes-- fairly recently, and over Twitter I saw her putting out some feelers for potentially acquiring some memorial art of the sweet little boy in exchange for some merch stuff on her end. As someone who's both a diehard Cat Person having experienced loss themselves and an artist starting to feel marginally qualified in pet portraiture, I reached out to her, and we made some arrangements. Painting for her was both an honor and a pleasure; she's extremely kind as a human and Archimedes was such a good, lovely boy. At her request, I painted him wearing his special pickle collar and bell/nametag with the closest approximated font match I could parse out from photos.
Take care of yourselves out there, all. Cats are good.

I'm not sure what form of commission you're asking exactly-- pet portraits/animals, or in memories things, or something else, but the answer is pretty handily yes! I enjoy the opportunity and honor to do people's past and present animal friends. It's a pleasure to paint.
