For a while now I've been terrorizing my roommate
holodrom into making a gainer gamer ferret character, and finally made good with my threats to write about him! His name is Langelus, and he's as good at stuffing himself as he is at playing video games >:3c
Langelus tries out the new GlaceTech Gamer Throne, a gamer chair with a built-in feeding feature...
Project: LANGELUS

Doors slid open before Langelus just like something out of a sci-fi movie. The lean white ferret walked through them, slowly looking around at what appeared to be an ultra-modern apartment. The walls were a solid, nearly blinding white, accented by icy blue lines. The color scheme was repeated throughout the open room he was in, from the furniture to the appliances and even some of the artwork adorning the walls.
From hidden speakers a cheerful voice echoed out. “Welcome, Langelus, to the GlaceTech Model Gamer Abode. Here at GlaceTech, we’re dedicated to creating the most advanced gaming experience on the market. A 4k projector system. Every gaming system of the newest generation. All of the equipment necessary for the modern streamer.”
Langelus let out an awed whistle as he took a closer look at the setup. Just from a glance it all looked impressive.
“Our most recent technological achievement is the GlaceTech Gamer Throne.”
Langelus’ attention was directed toward the single chair facing the projector screen. It had visible similarities to a lot of dedicated gamer chairs he’d seen before, almost like it belonged in a race car—or an arcade racing cabinet. It was noticeably wider, though, more like a recliner.
“Memory foam cushions ensure unbeatable comfort, and it can recline and adjust to handle all postures and sizes. Built-in speakers make the games feel closer than ever, while charging stations mean you’ll never have to worry about cables getting in the way again. But the star feature of the GlaceTech Gamer Throne is the Glace Gamer Fuel dispenser.”
On the arms of the chair screens lit up, displaying menus with bright logos. One was all drinks, mostly sodas, all of which Langelus recognized. The other was food, lots of chips and snacks.
“Our patented Food Allotment Trademarked System means you’ll never have to interrupt an intense gaming session to a make a meal. Instead it’ll come right to you! Today you’ll be testing the full extent of this revolutionary product from GlaceTech, the global destiny innovator.”
Langelus needed no further invitation. The ferret settled right in. He was surprised to find it just as comfortable as advertised, sinking slightly but not too much. From a compartment on the side he retrieved a controller and used it to start up a game.
For the first few minutes the experience wasn’t much different from any other gaming session—though undeniably comfortable. Then a gentle chime rang over the built-in speakers in the chair.
“GlaceTech recommends you hydrate often while gaming. Which of our award winning GlaceFuel drinks would you like to enjoy?”
Langelus glanced down at the arm screen. They were all tempting, but Raspberry RPG Rampage stood out, if only because he was playing an RPG. He said the name aloud without thinking, and the chair actually responded.
“Excellent selection, enjoy!”
A clear tube extended from the chair and slipped into Langelus’ awaiting mouth. Sucking a little on the end caused the fruity-flavored soda to pour out at a steady pace. It was chilled and perfectly carbonated, as if he’d just cracked open a fresh can from the fridge.
Drinking the soda straight from the tube, Langelus was free to continue playing his game unimpeded. He quickly got into the zone, focusing entirely on the game and forgetting he was greedily chugging down soda.
Slowly the ferret’s flat stomach started to swell out, turning into a modest dome without Langelus noticing at all. His loose shirt tightened some. By the time Langelus finally bothered to stop sipping and shoo away the tube he was sporting a sloshy pot belly.
The game was more important than his rounder middle, though.
A short time later the chime returned. “GlaceTech believes that regular meals are important for any gamer. Which of our phenomenal GlaceTech snacks would you like to indulge in?”
Again Langelus looked down, not even blinking an eye at his stuffed middle. The snack options were plentiful, and Langelus hadn’t skimmed through it all before choosing a combo of sliders.
From the top of the chair something resembling a feedbag lowered, sliding over Langelus’ snout. What could only be described as burger bites were dispensed through it. They tasted incredible, restaurant quality for sure. The beef was juicy and the buns fresh, the condiments varied. In between bites the drink tube returned to help him wash the burgers down.
Just like before Langelus began to gorge. His gut was growing steadily, white fluff peeking out from beneath his shirt. Glutting didn’t hamper his gaming in the slightest, the ferret proving more than capable of juggling eating and playing.
When Langelus’ belly actually swelled large enough to start getting in the way of his controller the chair swiftly went into action. It lowered and reclined in short bursts, keeping Langelus comfortable while giving his gut room to grow. And grow it did.
Despite the ferret’s naturally slim form, his appetite was seemingly bottomless. He wasn’t the least bit full. Eating was just another game to Langelus, and the only way to truly win was to eat more than ever before. Fortunately the GlaceTech Gamer Throne was more than happy to indulge him.
His belly was doughy and round when he stopped eating the sliders, like a snow-covered hill.
Time passed, and more food and drink breaks were suggested, the gaps in between getting shorter and shorter while Langelus grew fatter and fatter. Of course he was enjoying every gluttonous minute of it. Gradually his options were dwindling as various sodas and snacks were completely wiped out. He grinned at every “Out of Stock” notice, as if he’d just beaten a boss.
Throughout it all the ferret’s gaming hadn’t deteriorated to any significant degree. He could tell his reflexes were very slightly off, but no one else would’ve been able to spot the difference.
Langelus’ belly swelled over his lap, overflowing onto the menu screens so they were no longer visible. The chair was starting to creak and groan beneath the ferret’s bulk. Automated warnings were going off, sternly reporting the gradual structural failure of the chair.
Inevitably the chair stammered out another hydration recommendation, but it was immediately followed by an apologetic message about nothing being available. Langelus had managed to consume everything the chair had to offer.
No triumphant jingle played when the gamer accomplished the feat, but the GlaceTech Gamer Throne did collapse under Langelus’ weight. At the same time he finished the game he’d been playing as well.
“It’s a good—braaaaaaaaaaap—start, but could definitely use some work. Not nearly sturdy enough for a true gamer!”
With another belch the engorged ferret passed out into a deep, relaxing food coma.
The door to the model apartment opened. A researcher entered, four subordinates behind him carrying a heavy duty stretcher. With a motion they hurried over to the immobilized ferret. It took considerable effort, but the four were eventually able to lug Langelus onto the stretcher.
The researcher shook his head as he looked over the crushed remnants of the gamer chair. He held up a small recorder and turned it on. “Even with the reinforcement to the latest model it was still destroyed beyond repair. The Langelus Mark Eight is also far too prone to glutting. Subject immobilized himself at a record rate. They will be difficult to use as social media influencers and corporate streaming mascots if they’re too fat for events.” He turned to his subordinates. “Alright, get him out of here. We need to prep the apartment again for the next Langelus experiment. Hopefully the GlaceTech VR Fridge proves sturdy enough to survive.”
Langelus was slowly carried out of the apartment, nearly getting stuck before he was squeezed through. The researcher made a mental note to have them widened once more, just another task to deal with on Project Langelus...
