BIO

"Marie is a magical puppet. Her species belongs to the Enchanted family, naturally. While she was made of wood, the magic has made it feel fully skin-like and you won't ever get a splinter from touching this gal! Like all members of her race, Marie was made by a magical-type monster girl who wanted a handy servant to help with her experiments. Marie serves her Mistress well, never defying an order and always making sure to do her best. She does not desire to leave her Mistress and be free, it seems. They have a good relationship even if she puts Marie through a lot of magical experimentation.

Like many members of the Enchanted Family and their close relatives the Synthetic Family, Marie struggles with her lack of a soul. She, along with others in this category, can definitely develop her own soul as she continues to exist and learn more, but as she is now there is discontent brewing within her wooden heart. Marie does have a few pangs here and there of what might be called emotion, but they are fleeting and difficult for her to process. She is almost certainly closer to gaining her own soul than she thinks. To fill the void in her empty heart, Marie seeks to learn as much she can of the world around her. She reads from her mistresses' library at every chance she can get. Her thirst for awareness leads her to many inquiries and questions, often to the annoyance of those around her.

Sexually, Marie was naturally enchanted with softness and the warmth of a woman. She cannot have children with other monster girls, as her womanly parts are for fun only. Since she is a puppet who must follow orders, Marie is the textbook definition of a sub and will perfectly act out whatever request is given of her... Though permission must be granted from her mistress, of course. Marie is a kuudere by nature (she doesn't have a soul, after all) and thus some might find her a deadfish in bed. Marie surprisingly seems to feem more emotion during intercourse than outside of it- although whether this is an attempt on her half to better simulate the feel of an interested lover or actual satisfaction at having served her partner is up to interpretation. Like I said though- this puppet is closer to losing her strings than she might actually realizes.

As for her relationship to the Protagonist of MHFAP!, Marie finds herself extremely curious about him. She bombards him with questions and loves to listen to him speak of the world outside the service of her mistress. As with all girls of MHFAP!, Marie has a special nickname for the Hero, calling him 'Stringless.' A bit of a mouthful, surely, but it's her own way of showing her admiration for this freebird of a man who makes his way through life avoiding the law and adventuring to fulfill his destiny."
