Thank you Google, Mozilla and Cloudflare: Your latest patch makes it easier to unlock Jesus's final raptor form! Now if you'll excuse me, I have numerous bottles of Tory tears to drink.

Usually I just draw what motivates me. This sort of thing used to be the exception, but with so much going on it's becoming a bigger theme for me. I still draw furry and vore stuff primarily, but at times I feel some other stuff like this can help to raise awareness or is simply good for venting.
I decided to go ahead and enable the system in Firefox. It's still experimental but super easy to use: Just go to the about:config page and change the following two settings to those values:
network.trr.mode 2
network.security.esni.enabled true
The first page should now confirm that you're using Cloudflare as a DNS provider. You can also go to the second page and test your browser, which should give you a green marker on all 4 verifications.

So far I can't see any difference, but everything is working well. In fact I might be getting an ever so slightly faster response from some websites when they load! The fun part is that it's secure, and neither your ISP or any other intermediary can know the server you're talking with except for its IP address; In Britain this also means the Tories are in trouble with God

Claiming it's to "protect the children" is a really stupid argument to not use encryption, because you know who won't be affected by this change when protecting children? The parents, who are also the ones who are supposed to be monitoring their kids anyway. The government and ISPs have no business trying to do the parents job for them.
And needless to say the true goal has nothing to do with protecting children: It only has to do with protecting the dying values of puritan Christian society, mixed with an authoritarian government desperate for mass surveillance knowing precisely what everyone is saying and thinking.
As I believe in equal rights online, I glee at the inevitable arrival of the uncensorable internet and how it will also give freedom back to children. Even parents will have a hard time "protecting" kids by force in the future, let alone the government which is the biggest threat to the free web. This tyrannical fantasy of censorship and absolute control is slowly giving its last breath.

of course, some parents make very terrible decisions on monitoring their kids. For example, in one case, the kid was a furry and an abdl, and they responded by trying to not make the kid be one, block all the content, and prevent the kid from talking with like-minded individuals, which could possibly be classified as conversion therapy since it tries to accomplish the same thing, doesn't work, and has about the same effect.
Also, trying to prevent kids from seeing pornography doesn't always have the desired effect. In a lot of cases, they wanted to see it only because it was "forbidden", then when they got to it, they couldn't understand what the big deal was and threw it out and put it in the "boring adult stuff" category, in contrast, some parents didn't need to try and prevent it, they just explained to the kid what it was when they encountered it and the kids decided not to view it all on their own, no parental controls required.

Very true and well said; Humanity seeks every possible excuse to take extreme stances on simple things, even when they are actively not needed. If something is going well and there is no problem, twist logic to the very limit until you come up with a problem. This is sadly the world we live in: A world where we're told that leaving people alone isn't possible because there are esoteric bad things everywhere, when in reality the ones saying it struggle to create anything resembling bad things so they can keep having an excuse.
