You know what? European breeds are soooo dull.
People in Europe seeing red or yellow dragon: "Oh look, it's so bright, so vibrant!"
Inca/Indian dragon: "You call that vibrant? Well, how about this?"
So I give you only named Indian breed from Temeraire universe - and of course whole description was "purple near the oak trees". So what, not first time, eh?
I helped myself a bit with the description of other Indian dragon that had ruff and "big, but tightly furled wings" - so this one has similar traits.
In general this one is a mix of frilled agama, a panther and a bat, with a bunch of kukri knives attached to the tail. Pretty neat combo.
I imagine them quite slender, thus they can fold their wings very close to their bodies, which helps them move around when on the ground. When agitated/angered, they whip their long tail around, taking down all the undergrowth and even small trees - thus their name.
Enjoy :)
