Yeah, that is a general image. The admin who compelled Iskra to mark it as mature is in the wrong, and should have their status as admin revoked.

Sure there's an argument why it could not be: The intent of the artist. And since the artist is very much alive, and has herself originally posted it as General art, the intent is clear. Subjective interpretations that deviate from the artist's are therefore irrelevant, except in matters where it's obvious the artist is intending to deceive the audience OR too stupid to recognize the rules their art breaks and why. A hypothetical example would be labeling explicit pornography as General art and coming up with an excuse, no matter how elaborate, of the artist's intention is for it to be something viewable for the general public.

Finally, Mew is not being bashed for asking the art to be labelled as 'mature.' At least, not by me. I'm bashing her for asking LevelViolet to cater to her personal tastes so that when she browses FurAffinity at work, she doesn't risk getting in trouble. LevelViolet is not responsible for Mew's poor decision.

The thing with the Iskra pic is she has cameltoe. FA policy changed a little while back where nipple bulge/cameltoe/crotch bulge are all considered mature content. I had a few of my pics reported and re-tagged awhile back for violating the policy. FA is a predominantly English site. The rules are in English and no other languages. No, there's no rule that you NEED to talk in English, but it IS common courtesy to talk in a language everyone can understand. Especially when talking about other people, that's just underhanded.
Just as FYI, English isn't my main language either. But seeing the site is, and you need to know English to maneuver the site, I stick to that. I'm also someone who'll always try to help people if they can't figure something out in English, but heck if I'd ever talk in my native language.

Ah, the singular detail I could point out on that image is the crease at her crotch that would imply genitals. But otherwise that's fairly harsh. People also don't just get banned out of nowhere, so this must have been a repeat offense. And if they do ban out of nowhere, then that's just anal.
