I don't know if anyone remembers when an "original species" named water dogs got really popular, and there was a big argument about whether there can be knock-offs or not, but I do, because this is how I got this gal!
She's an alien cat with 5 eyes, is made of space rock and slime/goo. She is usually the "mom" of her friend group and takes care of everyone she meets. Sadly some see her as intimidating because of her lack of fur. She still has a few firends, and is very grateful for them!
