Part of 2018's Inktober. Went through a lot of old sketchbooks to scan traditional art that's been missing from my galleries.
I loved this movie so much as a kid. I mean, a live-action disney movie with a cartoon dragon that can become invisible and Mickey Rooney as a lighthouse keeper. Very cool! I especially liked Elliots silly facial expressions like the one shown, super cute.

Same! I have never seen the remake, the trailer/clips didn't look right to me. I couldn't picture their realistic interpretation having that silly sense of humor and funny faces that we all found so endearing about the original. Plus it seems that the songs are gone. I haven't enjoyed a single live-action remake that Disney has made yet.
Yeah, I didn’t like the Beast’s redesign in the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast some of the songs where ok but I’m true to the animated version of the original Disney films, although the live action remake of the Lion King was ok but I miss Scar’s sarcasm in the film which I love about the animated version of Scar, but I’ll always be true to the original Disney animated characters and their comic relief humor.
