A What if Scenario. (Scenario means its a developed event) For MegaMan man joining the Darkside.

I don't know why would he do it either. ?

Maybe Wily presented him a chip that would give him an Ultimate caving for Desire of Ultimate power and everything he wishes.

It could work, as an alternate timeline.

But in the main timeline? Not so. After all; "ultimate power" is none of Mega Man's concern. In a timeline like that, the only way Mega Man would join Wily, is if he were reprogrammed against his will, (much like what Wily does, to Dr. Light's robots) or he'd infect them, with some sort of computer virus, in order to make them his pawns!

I can DEFINITELY seeing Mega Man joining Dr. Wily willingly, but NOT in the main timeline.

Perhaps in an ALTERNATE timeline, though, but the result depends.

#1: Could it be, that Mega Man lost who he once was, and turned to the darkside?
#2: Could it be, that Mega Man was sort of FORCED to join Dr. Wily, to protect at least one innocent, from harm?
#3: Could it SIMPLY be the fact, that Mega Man had been infected, by one of Dr. Wily's own viruses, against his own will?
