Okay
this is what i did, this is what i painted
even if i dont like it or even if i hate it,
i got nothing else to upload for today.
I believe that one of the tasks of an artist
is to envision his surroundings and state it in his art.
no matter the subject, I have experience influence from all kinds of sources.
Recently i´ve been shown content at college,
some documentaries about Latin American politics.
Even though initially this painting did'nt pretend to reflect that,
in a moment I could see that the result had a relationship with it.
This could be a loose fictional portrayal of "Che Guevara"
or at least i thought it looked like it,
even though at the start i was looking visual references from pirates,
rather than politicians.
I'm not in here to discuss or state any kind of position in politics
but in what ever possible way,
i do look for to state a reflection of the subject matters that happen in reality
In Guatemala, there was an historical event called
"Revolución de Octubre de 1944"
the events of it, it is said, were part of inspiration for "el Che"
(according to wikipedia hahaahahahah)
There is a common phrase i heard it is said in mexico.
"no hay pillo que no sea simpático"
google translator says.
"there is no crook who is not nice"
y yo digo,
no todos los buenos son lindos
ni todos los malos son feos.
but i'm just here to say, if whatsoever way you have interest to look for that piece of history
you are free to do it.
.....and that´s something some people in some countries can´t freely do.
and even if you do can access information, you also have to wonder whether or not if what you are reading or being taught
is actually the truth.
bye bye, this post did'nt happened.
it was just a practice session.
