That is totally lavender on my screen.

Love the wings; I'd suggest giving the small of his back slightly more line weight to balance with the black in the wings (especially the long bit of wing), tho. Probably also pull the throat line in a TAD where it connects to his jaw to give his neck more shape.

They're pretty much nitpicks, though, I think he's looking quite nice the way he is as well.

Though the Weight of the wing Lines is Mostly from the wing detail itself. ^-^;

Oh, I understand that the wing weight is due to the wings being black; black is a heavy color, though, and the white of his back marking and the white of the background sort of visually "blend" because of the weight difference, to me. Mind, once you start playing with lighting and any shading you may want to do, that may work itself out anyway, so it might not be neccessary to touch it much depending on where you're going with it.

I should make any White markings a Light light LIGHT Gray. So I can mess with shading, Cause white just doesn't Burn/dodge. x.x

This is some of your best works so far, Id drop his jaw line a bit to even it out. The colors are.. deliciously flat on the wings. It looks like one of the butterflies off a lil'girls lunch box, try to do the same thing on the body.

I'm, more or less, Going to be Experimenting with lighting once I get the head-fur down, though it's nice to See Lucas in Full color, Right? xDD

Comes across as lavendar, but still beautiful. Just love the wings, and everything else about this piece. Will fave until finished work is up, then switch out.
