Part 1 of a little series of pics I've started a while ago
What do you think, of course if you keep bashing the opposite team to keep your teammates' morale kinda high, at least one of them will get cocky and start making silly and humiliating bets with them.
"Hey I heard him, sounds pretty fun! we should definitely do that!"
"Dude, this doofus doesn't speak for the team!" team captain exclaims as they pull him at the back of the group.
"Chickenin' out already, boys?"
Ouch.
Team captain looks around, his whole team is looking at the ground; if he doesn't say something now they'll be as good as defeated.
He puts on all the confidence he's got and responds :
"Okay, jerk! we'll do it!"
"Nice", the opposite team's captain grins; he extends a paw for them to shake.
He reluctantly shakes it. He himself is shaking a little bit and from the wolf's expression, he can tell that he's noticed.
"See you tomorrow on the field" he says, then turns around and takes off.
Boy, these wolves sure run fast...
How much easier was it when they were in school and teachers would mix teams up and encourage them to use each others' abilities. But once they've flewn out of the nest, birds of a feather flock together...
Entire rabbit team turns to player N°2, who didn't need this extra signaling to understand that he's made a big mistake.
"...Ops."
They all keep silent, staring at him
"...look, I thought that could motivate us a little!"
"Here's a bet for ya doofus", captain says pulling on his ear, "if we don't win at least 3 - 0 you'll be target practice for the rest of the year so we can ALL IMPROVE. How's that for extra motivation?"
"...it's... great" he manages to articulate.
They eventually leave him alone and make their way towards the locker room. He just stands in the field alone; probably not a good idea to follow them right now, plus perhaps it would be wise to start training a little bit..
