Fur Island episode 1 takes place 5 years after the Pell Cell Corporation released the news about a furification serum to the public. Over 100,000 people signed up within the first few days of its announcement. Public backlash was huge, but Pell Cell address the public that everything was safe.

Pell Cell took a random drawing from the large to show off at Anthrocon 2015. Only 12 where 6 months before the convention. Lucky everything went fine and Pell Cell went on.

In 2016 Hanna Sanders of Bend, Oregon was attacked and killed by an Anthro Wolf, Aspen Dragfield for what Witness say “She slammed his tail in a door and he just turned then grab her throat. Then dragged her the wood next the school and killed her” Other reports showed that Sanders and her other friends where bullying Dragfield, by blowing dog whistles and throwing other objects to provoke DragField

The incident got media attention and prompted several States to put heavy restrictions on the Anthro Community

By 2018 5 States banded Anthros from going to public schools and/or play on public sports team where 12 states banded Anthros from living there, most moved to other states or moved to states detention facilities. to states detention facilities.
