This is a simple story about Vincent, who we haven't seen in a while, and Michelle, who he's spending Christmas with, having a chat about Vinnie's people in the wee hours of the morning.

I wrote it mainly to challenge myself to use the word 'said' in my formatting, something I noticed I avoid in my writing in this journal, approximately four million years ago. This, combined with the fact that I had nothing Christmas-themed in the works, inspired me to write this short bit of exposition and wrap it in a vague Christmas theme.

Honestly, I'm not thrilled with how the 'said' experiment worked out. I think I finally understand those artists who talk about how they don't like some piece of their work because of a specific flaw. In this case, the formatting looks messy and inconsistent. Still, any practice is good practice.

Anywho, it was a good way to expand the information known about the Mokaji in general, and Vincent Linus in particular. So while I don't think this is my best work, I hope it's at least interesting.
