Warrior Bout (Cylnx Vs Bouts-R-Us)
*During Fighter Selection screen* Welcome to the Warrior Bout 2010 tournament. Sponsored by Cylnx and Bouts-R-Us. Are you ready for the match of the year? I hope so because the two major fighting sponsors have joined forces to bring you this ultimate collab battle! Sponsors, fighters, mercenaries, and athletes all alike have participated in one of the most biggest annual events in fighting history. This all femme fatale fighting competition is heating up as warriors from around the globe seek for glory, skill, vengance, or maybe entertainment. Everyone has their own destiny upon entering the tournament. Many divas have participated, but only one lady with keen skills shall walk away with the "Warrior Bout Champion" title. Who will be the reigning champion? Find out, as the annual battle commence. Are you ready to throw down?
Bout and myself finished this project back in October really. I had a blast drawing Bout's well-known all femme boxers and hooking up the scenery. I'm a Street Fighter/King of Fighter vet at heart and Capcom Vs SNK2 was one of my faved fighting games back in 2001. I liked how SNK drew Capcom's fighters and vice versa. That's what inspired me to do a collab pic with Bout. Bouts-R-Us has a slew of boxing femme fatals in his awesome gallery. Even some bios and comic strips of them. Go check his artwork out, give him credit as well, and a watch while ya at it! He drew my characters on the right side of the screen and did a fantabulous job at it ^^ Sometimes I wish this was an actual game... (I had it as my wallpaper on my PSP Go and it looked so damn good like an actual game LoL!)

Yeah! Yeah! We did that over here too! *Sigh* the good ol days of when arcades existed in malls... Man I remember seeing that when Mortal Kombat 2 first came out in the arcades in 1994. Talk about a line from hell as it snaked outside of the damn arcade and into the halls. Lmao
XD I use to play that game Pump (Korea's answer to Japan's DDR pretty much). I was so damn good at it, I litterally can dance on it playing double. And the locals in Korea would like SURROUND the arcade taking pics n using vid cameras taping me n all Lmao. Man, I felt like a celeb there. They never seen a american play their game so good. Damn, I miss Korea....
LoL I always liked the english mispronunciations like, "Selectuh your fightuh!" My all time favorite has to be the first Fatal Fury with Terry Bogard's Burn Knuckle. Lmao I couldn't understand a word he said until a few years later. "Ban-nakoo!" ........huh? Say that.... again? lmao
LoL I was thinking of my past faved games and their fighter selection screens really. Like this here, I was inspired by Capcom Vs SNK's select screen. The BG behind the roster boxes was just some random design I made up with random effects to alter it more. Think of some funky box layout patterns and make a wild design in the back ground. Then the fun part comes adding your characters on the side and in the boxes. Hope that helps! ^^ A 2011 screen shot will be done later on...
