I've been tinkering with updating and redesigning a few of my characters for the VN. I wanted to update Annabelle for quite some time. I tried to make her look a little more mature so she would look her age which is tricky to do with a character that's so petite and short since they tend to look child like especial when standing next to a character like Vicki or Lisa. The design could use some more work but I think she's looking really good. I cant really decide if I prefer the fur markings on the right or not.

She's a shy bookworm but I didn't want to just design her with a stereotypical pair of glasses and sweater or oversized hoodi. Some folks have said that her outfit makes her look a little to confident, it's a bit to fashionable.

I need to make sure her personality doesn't get lost in the new design, she's a shy character so I need to have her body language reflect that. But it is tricky, there aren't many good references for shy characters and a huge amount of them is just porn Lol It's tricky because there's a different between being shy and being sad but the expressions do look very similar.
