"Hey wake up, sleepyhead"
Sascha bent over the pillow and gave Sammy a gentle nudge and a playful boop on the nose.
"I know you stayed up late yesterday, so I let you sleep in. Buuuuuut it's a nice day outside so I figured you wanna play. Right? Right!
I already showered and everything. So waaaaaaake up, buddy!"
The long tailed lynx plushie still looked pretty sleepy and a bit disheveled from being cuddled at night when the little bear hybrid scooped him up.
He gave the plushie a scritch behind the ears, then proceeded to smooth the fur a bit with his paw until Sammy looked like his normal self again.
Giving the black and purple scarf a last tug smiled at Sammy, who seemed to smile back at his young owner.
"See? All better now. Let's go and play outside!"
A few minutes later the the duo was outside, enjoying the warm spring sun, running around in the garden.
"What's up, Sammy?" Curious, Sascha followed his companion's gaze, who seemed to longingly look at a large flock of birds , dancing through the air.
"The birds? You wanna fly, too? Mhhh... sorry Sammy, but I don't think Lynxes can fly."
"Mew :/ " As always, the feline wasn't really big on words.
"Sammy, you don't even have wings"
"Mew!"
"No, Sorry. That won't work. But maybe... I can help a bit. Hold on tight, buddy!"
Holding his plushie hight over his head, Sascha started to run and jump through the garden, giggling and squealing in delight, trying to hold up Sammy as high as possible.
He was so focused on giving him a little taste of what flying might feel like, that Sascha didn't really noticed how his hoodie started to ride up, showing an adorable little peak of his purple pullups.
I mean, who cares about something as trivial as that, when your best plushie friend wants to fly... right?
