This is a little sketch I did in my sketch book that took me around 2 or so hours. I am not an artist. I am bad at symmetry. I...I don't know how you people DO it. I draw the right side then the left side comes out uneven. one eye is bigger then the other. One ear is longer then the other. And I can't draw his goggles. I am terrible at this! UGH. I try, try, try, get frustrated, realize this is taking ages and I'm just not getting ANY where, and then just scrap it all and sit frustrated with my inability to master the dexterity required to draw a coyote. And yet, I can juggle like nobody's business. WHUT?!

Well THIS little doodle was spawned from one of my more darling conversations on D.A.
"HI WILL YOU DRAW MY COYOTE CHARACTER PLZ HE IS A COYOTE AND WANTS TO CATCH A ROADRUNNERLOL PLEZE DRAWS HIM IN BLACK PANTS AND A TRENCH COAT AND SUNGLASSES AND FINGERLESS GLOVE HE NAME IS ****** AND HE WANTS TO CATCH A ROADRUNNER WITH SNIPER GUN LOL CAN YOU DRAW THAT 2"

"Hi there. I'm afraid I'm not really much of an artist. Sorry."

"LOL PLZ YOU'RE REALLY GREAT AT YOUR DRAWINGS ILOVE UR TINY TOONS LOL"

"WHY NOT YOU DRAWS FOR ALL THOSE OTHER POEPLE"

"I write fail on your face with a flick of my wrist. First of all, I already said no. Not only that, I have in addition, explained that I don't draw. Third, whining about it, or attempting to 'butter me up' will not in turn, produce a magical ability for me to draw your spirited, and not at all cliche character."

Now, that'd be funny if it didn't. Keep. Happening.

"No. First of all, no. Secondly No. I am not an artist. I don't draw. I don't draw pictures of people I don't even know humping my characters. But I DO have good news. I think it's possible for you to learn tact AND social skills!! Don't give up, try again!

And then, the icing on the cake:

"Hi. Would you please draw my character? He's a coyote, like you, so it shouldn't be so hard."

"Sorry, I don't draw."

"Then why do you have all those pictures on your gallery if they aren't yours. You've just admitted to being an art thief."

"....I'm sorry. The incredible amount of ignorance I've just read from your previous message has not only paralyzed me with laughter, but as well as a bubbling rage of uncontested fury that I cannot reach through the internet to -hit- you. But you are right. I AM an art thief. CLEARLY. "

"I'm reporting you."

"Good luck with that."


So that is the beauty and SPLENDOR of my experience with D.A. so far. It is a WONDERFUL PLACE. So seriously. I don't draw you guys. If you're looking at my gallery and thinking: Wow, this guy is really good, may I direct your attention to  Ishoka Who is actually the guy behind most of my pictures. Really, really cool bunny that guy. Not to mention  foxlover91 Who commissions a bunch of them, along with  Draegwolf Who also funds my illustrative existence. Then there's  Claire_Lamouf Who has drawn me on multiple occasions and deserves so many hugs I'm afraid I'd accidentally break her. (And subsequently be lynched for it. ) And then there's  Shortwings Who's only drawn me a few times, but the kitty rocks like nobody's business. And  Tanukiman88 Who draws me a great deal too. You guys all rock hard core, and anyone visiting my page and reading this message, should seriously consider hopping over to THOSE pages and giving the artists the love and respect they deserve. I'm just your average everyday writer with no real talent to speak of.

So I don't draw. I don't. That picture above? Yeah it's crap. It's crap in a hat. Don't say "Well it's better then what I can do." Cause it's not. You (Just like me) Have the ability to sit down, and learn and get better. I'm no better then you. I HATE that. Maybe a bit further along in the race, but it's all the same race and..blah blah blah. Point of all of this is: I'M NO ARTIST!!

I know this is probably gonna drop my number of 'watchers' from a whopping 170+ to a ....good...maybe 4 or 5. But I guess that's honesty...or integrity...or just...the desire not to fool people into thinking that I'm on par with talents like  Ishoka or any of the others I listed above. They really do deserve the credit people seem to be accidentally giving me, and I wanna set the record straight.
