With the last few creaks and grown I was indistinguishable from the plane that once was only in fiction. The feeling of my stiff body only added to the sensation as I became but an aircraft, an impressive piece of machinery that was built to take on any enemy. I laid there motionless, only able to fidget. The hangar purged of the remaining nanites as I looked through my body's cameras. A feeling of emptiness rushed through me as the pilot appeared in his jumpsuit, looking me over, inspecting me for imperfections. I could feel his touch, an odd sensation against smooth carbon fiber. "Not bad" he mused as a the floors sounded an alarm and opened, "You'll make a fine jet."
