As we walk along the dwindling path that is life, many other paths crosses or runs alongside ours. It is only natural that you stumble upon strangers, different travellers than yourself and mysterious oddballs. Most of these people pass by, busy following their own trails. Others walk alongside you for a brief but enlightening chat, and some might even enjoy your company so much that they choose to walk down your path for a while. After all, it seems that you are heading in the same direction anyway. Some might be good friends, other lovers.

But as such, it is only natural that as people come, they also go. At the next cross of paths they might step on a different one, or perhaps you do. It is a sad moment to break apart, but when you are heading in different directions it is not much else you can do, except wish them a blessed journey and that perhaps you'll meet again down the road.

Now, most of us know that once the paths head in different directions, it is not likely we will ever see their like again. But, this time was different. A year ago me and a good friend went our separate ways, sadly not under ideal circumstances. But things changed around, and one day many months later we crossed paths again. This image was created to commemorate that moment.
