This piece well...represents a tie that binds in a way. I met this kind soul years ago and our bond has been anything but steady to say the least. We had our ups and downs but I wouldn’t have traded any of it. However, just as people come, they go, and sadly our tie seemed to have severed and I feared I lost her forever.

But I realized that in that midst, I needed to not focus on trying to win her back and keep her in my life but rather focus on myself and what caused us to drift off in the first place. I did just that. 2018 was a terrible year, but I’m a survivor and so is she. And to think that life seemed to find a way to reunite us again, in places where we are better and healthier in all aspects of our being. Thank you is not enough for everything you have done, Val.

The wonderful, under-appreciated ness is  venghze
