This piece.....was actually commissioned a year ago. The artists kind of fell of the map, so I forgot about it. Out of the blue, she posts the finished product and linked it to me! :-D
I really could not be happier with this piece! It is very vibrant and she really brought Yosi to life! In truth, I haven't been connecting with Yosi over the past year and was even considering selling her. Her species and name came from my old martial arts school, which I had to leave when I moved.
Since I received this piece, however, I have been re-thinking this character. She is supposed to be me (with my dream job). I have changed a LOT over this past year, so why can't she? She may no longer do martial arts, but she still exercises, reads, crochets, and, like me, has recently taken up sewing. If I can change, so can she.
