So, Its the holidays. And having a camera I figured I should at least try to find something festive to put up here. Sadly, there wasn't anything worth photographing around the house, and the neighbors would not appreciate me skulking about in the yard to take a picture of their lights and whatnot.

Instead, I went to the living room, and turned on the tree lights. Flipped on the camera and set it to its slick "starry night" mode. Its a nice extended exposure mode for making some spiffy light effects.

And thus, a scary energy vortex was born out of our tranquil tree. Rawr.
