• Biography: Herodias is one of the ½ mermaids born to Junichiro and Palutena, coming just a day before Palutena gave birth to mershark twins Yuzuha and Mozu. At one point, Herodias learns she has combat potential, but despite what it seemed, she wasn’t cut out for the Dragon Ball universe as initially believed. Instead, Herodias went with her father into the vastness of the Hyperdimension Neptunia universe. Like her father, Herodias was not blessed with the power of a CPU from the get-go. Like Juni had beforehand, she had to earn it. However, Herodias needed to locate her relic; a crimson crystal, within the lands of Lowee (Where Herodias became friends with its goddess Blanc) and have it awakened in Fanservia. Getting to where the crystal slept was the easy part. Obtaining it was another story as Herodias needed to prove herself worthy of obtaining its power and thus was put into a series of fights (Namely 5 in a row) that would determine her worthiness to wield its power. She passed with flying colors possessing the nobility, power, and purity needed to be worthy of becoming Crimson Heart via this crystal. After being allowed to take the crystal, it was encased in a pendant and awakened from its slumber within Lowee to be awakened with the help of White Heart and Spectrum Heart. Now Herodias answers as Crimson Heart when the situation arises for the change and will always answers the call to aid when requested. Herodias comes off as a sort of quiet individual, but while she has her father’s kind and caring attitude, she has also inherited her mother’s seductive side, often trying to seduce anyone that catches her eye, preferring to seduce men most of the time. As Crimson Heart however, she becomes more serious toned when it comes to the situation on-hand and is every bit as honorable as she is when in human form. She loves beat’em up games as she is a sort of representation of them. She also enjoys getting a laugh from the Homestar Runner universe. However, those who use internet slang give her headaches and she, like her father, absolutely rages at pedophiles. A Blackjack Champion.
• Abilities: Being ½ mermaid, Herodias is able to access her mermaid form whenever she’s in the water, making for an easy time finding items hidden below the waves. Herodias personifies fighting games and beat’em up games, so her fighting style tends to center on instant combos. Which comes in handy when an enemy with high guard levels are encountered, as her combo moves essentially make for great guard breaking. In addition to her fists and feet, Herodias fights with a Bo staff and is also armed with magic from her mother. Herodias often uses her magic on a set of throwing cards she also carries to make elemental missiles so to speak. She is even armed with shuriken if her cards don’t get the job done easily. She starts with the following equipment, and skills.
o Crimson Pendant: Houses the crimson crystal that enables Herodias to HDD into Crimson Heart.
o Steel Bo: A Bo Staff fashioned out of steel. It can crack skulls with enough brute force.
o Throwing Cards: Herodias’ main projectile. Ordinary playing cards weaponized to become lethal missiles. Can be enhanced by magic to make them explode with the corresponding element.
o Steel Shuriken: Shuriken forged of the sharpest steel. These deal more damage than the throwing cards, but do not explode when imbued with magic.
o Nature Magic: Having inherited her mother’s affinity for magic in addition to her father’s natural strength, Herodias can cast various types of nature magic. She starts with Chain Lightning, Ice Storm, and Flame Wall.
o Heart Shower: Herodias throws a string of heart cards at her allies. They heal however much is on the cards by the 100s.
o Bo Dance: Herodias whacks her target with her opponent, all the while doing a seductive dance.
o Covet: Herodias seduces the target before smacking them and stealing any items they may have on their person. Not very effective against humanoid females or various monsters.
o Puff-Puff: Attempts to… Distract the enemy. Useless against other females.
o Demon Flurry: Herodias throws a rapid string of shuriken down at the enemy.
