The holo-room's getting better at making things, here's the rundown of the current capabilities:
It can make most kinds of solid food (no liquids):
-Tastes like a blander version of the real thing.
-The texture's like a grittier, crunchier version of the real thing, like it was made out of crackers or that it was just pulled from the freezer.
-Generated food does not produce waste, but does not digest properly, either. All digested mass just stores itself in fat cells until the room is turned off or the person leaves.
It can make living things (sort of):
-Generated people are basically just mannequins and aren't alive.
-Can be posed by hand, including things like opening and shutting eyes.
-Can also be remote controlled, but the controls and movement are pretty simple.
-Inflatable, but isn't as elastic as whatever hybrid it was copied from, usually.
-No internal organs, and all orifices lead to dead ends.
-Air pockets can be made remotely, like making it so you can blow into the navel and the belly inflates.
-Can only make copies of existing creatures/people/hybrids, can't generate anything until it's been scanned.
-Copies aren't as smooth and flexible as the real thing.
Objects:
-Can't generate fine details, like generating a field of grass and the room can't generate the individual blades of grass in the field.
-Objects generated can be made from scratch.
-Mostly limited to simple/flat colors.
-Objects aren't dynamic. (Generate a foot pump and it doesn't work because you can't press the bellow down. Generate a flower and the stem doesn't bend.)
-Objects can be generated inside of something/someone, like generating 20 burgers inside someone's stomach or generating beach balls into Lyyona's breast implants.
-Generally the lab staff doesn't want to bother to take too long on designing random objects, so they tend to have pretty simple shapes and sharp edges and such.
