My favourite kind of music to make. RPG Boss Battles.

I set myself a challenge to make something in 5/4 timing which flows and really gets the blood pumping in that classic "Fight for the future of our world" style.
This did take quite a while to make, and I was hesitant to post it as it's far more involved than most stuff I make.
A real challenge was that I couldn't just use any premade drum loops, as the few 5/4 beats that exist didn't fit the feel of the piece, so those had to be engineered.
For the Guitar solo I was also up against it, trying to find something which flowed well to hold in with the signature.
Thankfully for the tone of the Guitar, I was able to consult my brother, who is a guitarist first and foremost.

As a side note, I finished it on the same day that the Orbonne Monastery raid was released in FFXIV. I listened to it while fighting Ultima and was so pleased with how it fit the fight, however unwittingly.
