He had the idea for a lab rat gal who would be officer Hamlin's girlfriend, so I designed her on the stream. He said to give her reddish eyes like those white rats with the red eyes.

Dutch did great work on the totally adorkable Mercy Goldstein, a forensics investigator with the Zootopia C.S.I. department.
Losing her parents to an accident as a child, Mercy was adopted by the Goldsteins, a family of Hamsters who love her as one of their own.
This oddly enough makes her 'technically' a Hamster on almost all of her paperwork.
This means that Sargent Hamlin who is in charge of the Records department has no idea that there is a second Rat in Precinct One.
But fair is fair... she's somewhat unaware of him as well.
Things are gonna get interesting.
