Volcaster, No. 012 in the Ōshū Regional Pokédex, is known for being quiet, introspective and calm-natured. Despite a fierce and ferocious appearance, this secretive final evolution of the Infernewt family tree is known for being laid-back and easy to work with. However, should their Trainer come under attack, or their lesser cousins in the wild be harassed, it isn't unheard of for the normally meditative Fire/Psychic-type to lash out with a mixture of powerful telekinetic attacks and raging, incinerating flames.

One should always approach wild Infernewt-line groups with caution, particularly if they are accompanied by their rarest evolution. A little respect, intelligence, and a bag full of burn heal spray can go a long way for any trainer in the know.
