After a successful dogfight, the three members of Strider Squadron retire back to the landing field, where they recount their experiences over the course of the mission. It seems Cro is describing how he daringly outmaneuvered a pesky trio of drones and splashed them all in one dazzling move, and Anu is teasingly pointing out some discrepancies he's added to make it sound more impressive, while Ava just laughs at the antics of her boys. But while they're ready to relax and unwind for now, none of them can wait until the next time they take to the air.
So Tori, Anu and I have all been huge fans of the Ace Combat games for a good, long while. I'd wanted to get something featuring them as pilots for some time, mostly just showing the friendship and camaraderie of a squad that knows and trusts each other implicitly. Besides... getting an actual dogfight picture made wouldn't exactly show any of them, now would it?
