The bus's shell is supposed to be a 1950's schoolbus, I found a grill of one made by dodge on the net at least

That's a hell of an engine.

Exaggerated engines are typical of hot rod art, sometimes to the point where it's just an engine and a clutch X3

Cool. And speaking of art styles I was just earlier today looking at various art deco themes in art and industrial design. I know the architecture part all too well, but I was surprised to see how many art deco styled objects exist. I mean, think of the cliched image of the rounded chrome kitchen toaster.

You could even say the same about the hood of this bus. I personally adore the style when it was put to use in automobile and locomotive design.

If only current post-modern architects would use more elements of art deco... *sigh*

Have you ever seen a classic Bell Air up close before? I love the ellegant deco designs and chrome, and it's amazing that it was a working-man's car back in it's day. Of course that's why it became popular to customize, it was afordable so you were able to buy custom parts for it.

The driver kind of reminds me of Miss Frizzle.

I was thinking the whole thing had a Magic School Bus look to it X3
