There is a limitless amount of power to be had by opening yourself to the void. However, it does not come without a price. Powerful as you may be, it is not truly yours. You are simply a vessel for entities far beyond any comprehension.

The maddening tongue of the void calls to you endlessly; forever entrapped by it's will, there is no solace, only darkness and whispers. This is the life of a shadow priest.
