Finally finished this piece, redid the head and finished up a background, not the best I know. Once again the pose is from a poster for "The Last Samurai" and the dojo is based on the one in "The Matrix." I have named this character Harukou and I may use him in further drawings. I counted and this took 71 layers to do (my poor hands). Comments are always welcome.

I used a poster for the last samurai as the basis, doing an initial trace of the armor and sword to get them right then doing everything else myself. so if anything its the posters fault for the faulty handle, I have a few katanas myself and know a few who engage in aikido, was just fallowing my reference is all. but thanks for pointing that out ^^
